Who is responsible for your data
The website buygeorgia.ge (BuyGeorgia) is an independent information project about Georgian real estate for foreign buyers. The data controller is the owner of the BuyGeorgia project (“we”).

What data we receive and why

What we do not do
- we do not create accounts or take payments;
- we do not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies (as of the date of this page);
- we do not sell data or pass it on for anyone else’s marketing;
- we do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.
If we add any of these, we will first update this policy and ask for your consent.
Who may receive data
- Hosting and CDN (Hostinger) — the servers the site runs on.
- Email services and messengers (for example WhatsApp/Meta) through which you write to us and which we use.
- Partners (agents, property managers) — only if you asked us to introduce you, and only the data needed for that.
- Public authorities — where the law requires it.
Providers may be located outside your country, including in the EU and the US. We choose providers that apply standard data protection measures.
Your rights
You may find out what data we hold about you; get a copy; ask us to correct, delete or restrict its processing; object to processing; withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal); where applicable receive your data in a portable format; and complain to a supervisory authority.
To use these rights write to info@buygeorgia.ge or on WhatsApp. We will reply within the period set by law — usually within 30 days. Supervisory authorities:
- Georgia — Personal Data Protection Service (pdps.ge), Law of Georgia “On Personal Data Protection” (2023);
- Israel — Privacy Protection Authority (gov.il), Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended;
- Russia — Roskomnadzor (rkn.gov.ru), Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”;
- EU and UK — the data protection authority in your country (list), GDPR / UK GDPR.
Visitors from Russia
We do not keep a database of site visitors and do not collect personal data automatically. By sending us a message you consent to the processing of the data it contains (collection, recording, storage, use, transfer to the recipients listed above, deletion), including its transfer outside Russia — to Georgia, Israel and the countries where our providers’ servers are located. You may withdraw consent by writing to us.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over a secure connection (HTTPS) and access to correspondence is restricted. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please do not send passport details, document scans or payment details through the form or a messenger — we do not need them to advise you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the update date at the top.
