Standard
We aim to conform to the international standard WCAG 2.1 (level AA) and to the Israeli Standard I.S. 5568, on which the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013 rely.
We have reviewed the site ourselves; no independent audit has been carried out, so we do not claim full conformance.
What has been done
- Semantic markup: headings, lists and page landmarks.
- The menu, search, calculators and forms work from the keyboard; the focus is visible.
- Text has sufficient contrast; images have text alternatives (decorative ones are marked as empty); form fields have labels.
- The language of each page is declared in the code; Hebrew is displayed right to left.
- Text can be enlarged with the browser up to 200% without loss of content.
- The system “reduce motion” setting is respected; there is no flashing content and no time limits.
- The “Accessibility” button at the bottom of the page opens a panel: text size, high contrast, underlined links, a readable font and stopping animations.
Known limitations
- Wide tables are easier to read on a large screen; on a phone they can be scrolled horizontally.
- The Hebrew and Georgian translations may contain inaccuracies.
- The weather comes from an external service and we are not responsible for its availability.
- The accessibility panel is an aid: it does not replace browser settings or assistive technology.
