History and character
The name means "white spring"; the place used to be called Aghbulakh. English Wikipedia says a Georgian village, Garisi, stood here and was abandoned after invasions; in the 19th century Azerbaijani settlers moved in. Russian Wikipedia mentions a regiment headquarters here from 1816. Tetritsqaro has been a town since 1966.
