What this site is
We explain the Georgian property market for people who are not locals: cities and districts, prices, taxes, mortgages, foreigners' rights and residency. We are not a broker or a developer and we do not sell properties. At the moment the site has no paid placements and no affiliate links; if that changes, we will label them and say so here.
Where the data comes from
Prices, deal volumes and rates come from open sources: the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), the Public Registry, the National Bank of Georgia, TBC Capital, Galt & Taggart, Colliers, official pages of ministries and banks, and business media. Dollar prices per m² are guidance, not an offer, and each page shows the period they refer to. Where there is no reliable data for a place we say so instead of inventing figures.
How we make the news
Once a day an AI assistant searches a list of trusted sites for fresh material, reads the article and writes a short summary in four languages. Every figure in the summary is automatically checked against the text of the source; developer advertising, discount offers and paid interviews are not accepted. Each item has a date and a link to the original. It is a short summary, not legal or financial advice: base decisions on the original source.
What we do not do
We do not give legal, tax or investment advice, we do not guarantee returns and we do not publish listings for sale. Taxes, mortgages and the rules for foreigners change, so check the terms with a lawyer and a tax advisor before any deal.
Mistakes and updates
Pages show their update dates. If you find an error or an outdated figure, write to info@buygeorgia.ge or WhatsApp: we will check the source and fix it.
